Welcome to beautiful Bend!
I live right beside the campus, so feel free to call me if you need directions or have questions about Bend:

Or, if you prefer, tweet me @esquetee.
COCC / OSU-Cascades is on the west side of Bend, up a big hill:
Cascades Hall is at the northwest corner of campus. Free parking is available just across the street in the Barber Library parking lot:
Where to Stay:
There are several hotels and AirBnB options in town. Hipmunk is an easy way to search both hotels and AirBnB at one time. If you enjoy walking around and visiting little cafes, stay near the river. If you enjoy shopping, try the Hilton in the Old Mill District. The Phoenix Inn downtown is also a good option. There are cheaper options (but closer to a lot of traffic) along Highway 97 or 3rd Street.
Where to Eat:
Broken Top Bottle Shop — local brews on tap, great food, vegan / gluten-free options, 2-minute drive or 12-minute walk from campus
Deschutes Public House and Brewery — oldest of the local breweries, in the heart of downtown, lots of good food options.
Chow — one of the best breakfast places in town, locally sourced, very fresh and eclectic food.
See also all the categories of eatery options at the Visit Bend page on dining.
The Eat Guide also has a good list with plenty of filter options.
Where to Play:
If you can spend a little extra time here, you’ll love it! Bend has lots of craft beer, a pocket theater, a lively downtown, lots of trails, and much, much more. Let me know if you’re curious about anything in particular.
